A super quick recipe here for you to make your own homeade tortilla wraps instead of buying 8 in a plastic packet. They're so quick and easy to make too, and far more delicious. When you've conquered the basic recipe, feel free to change it up by adding herbs, spices or even seeds.
INGREDIENTS
480g Organic Plain Flour (plus extra for dusting)
60g Organic Olive Oil
200ml Hot Water
1tsp Baking Powder
1tsp Salt
METHOD
- Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl.
- Add in the hot (not boiling) water and mix to combine.
- Leave to rest for 30 minutes
- Separate into balls and roll out to about 2mm thin. You should be able to see your hand silhouetted through the dough.
- Heat a flat pan, I use a pancake pan, and cook the tortilla’s, without oil, in the dry pan gently.
- Watch as they start to puff up and flip over to cook the other side.
- Stack in a basket while you cook the rest.
- Serve and devour

These Homemade Organic Tortilla Wraps are fantastic with veggie chilli, fajitas, turned into burritos or even into Pizza Wrap Rolls.
Best served warm, if you overcook, chop them into pieces and cook a little longer to turn into tortilla chips!
